The story of THE BLUE LEGEND is one of complementary strengths, driven by two passionate individuals :
Serge AHOGO
A Financial Engineer and expert in financial management.
Maxime N’GBESSO
A Marketing Engineer with a Level 5 Certificate in Musical and Technical Aptitude, responsible for overseeing technical aspects.
In March 2017, these two young Ivorian entrepreneurs co-founded THE BLUE LEGEND with the ambition to leave a lasting mark on Côte d’Ivoire’s startup success stories. Their goal was not just to create another company but to inspire the youth by instilling a love for excellence.
Their pursuit of excellence gave birth to the slogan : ENTER THE LEGEND, LEAVE A LASTING IMPRESSION.
Starting from a small space in the Yopougon district of Abidjan, THE BLUE LEGEND initially focused on music production and video editing. Over the years, through diverse projects and experiences, the company specialized in a niche area of cinema: DUBBING.
Today, Thanks to its quality of service, THE BLUE LEGEND now serves an international clientele. The company operates out of a larger facility, equipped with 4 recording studios, 2 mixing stations, a dedicated sound design room and a video editing station.
PROCESS & ORGANIZATION
THE BLUE LEGEND is structured into two main divisions :
1. General & Executive Management (GEM)
2. Administrative & Financial Affairs (AFA)
1. GEM comprising four sections:
– Detection, Translation & Adaptation Section (DTAS) handles script translation, dialogue adaptation, and rhythmo band creation.
– Sound Design Section (SDS) creates soundscapes, Foley, and FX, as well as musical environments..
– Sound Capture Section (SCS) oversees voice recording sessions for voice-over actors..
– Editing and Mixing Section (EMS) finalizes projects through mixing, mastering, and ensuring compliance with international standards.
2. AFA includes three departments:
– Administrative Services manages daily operations and administrative functions.
– Legal Services ensures legal compliance and minimizes risks
– Human Resources optimizes recruitment, develops employee profiles, and ensures staff well-being.
